BoundingBox.store
Merch for the Computer Vision Crowd

Overview
A merch store for the computer vision crowd: apparel and goods for "the people teaching machines to see." It's a brand-new, self-initiated project, designed and built end to end rather than derived from research or client work like most of the rest of this site.
The pitch is narrow on purpose: a small, evolving catalog wrapped in one consistent idea, the bounding box, taken from computer-vision jargon and turned into the entire visual language of the store.
Right now boundingbox.store is a pre-launch landing page: the brand and the waitlist are live, the catalog and checkout aren't yet. Drop your email there and you'll be the first to hear when the first drop ships.
Design Details
Everything reads through a single lens: the bounding box, drawn "with the precision of a trim mark, not the noise of a heads-up display." Even the pre-launch page speaks the vocabulary of an object detector before a single product has shipped.
The waitlist page isn't a generic placeholder: the logo sits inside corner brackets like a detected object, the headline's key word ("frame") gets its own bounding box, and a terminal-style status line reads "store not live yet... building in the open" instead of a normal "coming soon" banner.
A three-color system: near-black ink (#1a1815) for text and UI, white paper (#fff) for space, and a single hot-signal red (#ff004f) reserved for the bounding boxes and calls to action, so the accent always means "detected."
A geometric display face for headlines paired with a monospace face for anything technical: confidence scores, object IDs (obj_001, obj_002...), and prices, reinforcing the detector aesthetic down to the type system.
Join the Waitlist
The catalog and checkout are still being built behind the scenes, so there's nothing to buy just yet, but the landing page is live and collecting emails for the first drop. Sign up and you'll get a heads up the moment boundingbox.store actually opens for business.

Next.js and TypeScript for the storefront, Tailwind for the ink/paper/signal design system, Shopify lined up as the headless commerce backend for when the catalog and checkout go live, Printful as the print-on-demand fulfillment partner behind the majority of the merch, and Vercel hosting the landing page today.
Status
Pre-launch. The landing page and waitlist are live at boundingbox.store, the catalog and checkout are still in development behind the scenes. This will be the first time this site's "app" category covers something you can actually check out from, once it ships.
